Front Royal Golf Course to remain open
A revised offer from Va. Golf LLC to assume management of the Front Royal Golf Course was accepted by the Warren County Board of Supervisors in a special meeting Monday.
Va. Golf’s previous offer was denied last week and the golf course was slated to close today. The previous offer asked the county to potentially contribute $20,000 annually for operating funds.
Terms of the deal say Va. Golf will lease the land for $2,000 per month this year. In year two, the lease will decrease to $1,000 per month with the county receiving 5 percent of the profits.
