Front Royal to Hold Q&A on New Power Cost Adjustment

7 March 2019 Front Royal/Warren County News

The Town of Front Royal has announced that it will hold a Monday (3/11/2019) Q&A forum for those with lingering questions or concerns about its new Power Cost Adjustment.

The Power Cost Adjustment, or PCA, is a separate line item on each Town of Front Royal Electric Bill statement which reflects the increases or decreases in the Town’s cost of purchased wholesale power. It’s a per kilowatt hour charge that accounts for variables like weather, fuel costs, and electric load that may increase Front Royal’s rate of pay for power despite the fixed rate it charges its customers. The forum on the PCA will be held in Warren County Government Center next Monday, and run from 6-7 p.m. Those who cannot attend can contact Energy Services Director David W. Jenkins at (540) 635-3027.
