Front Royal Home Invasion

On March 03, 2019, at approximately 3:00am, the Front Royal Police Department responded to 24 W. Prospect Street for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined that two black males had knocked on the front door of the residence and forced their way in brandishing a handgun. Several occupants were assaulted and injured during the event but did not require further medical attention. The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash and then fled the area on foot.
One of the suspects has been identified as David O’Sear Brooton, 50-year-old Winchester resident. Brooton was arrested on March 4, 2019 without incident on three felony charges related to this incident: conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. The second suspect has been identified as Jerrell “J” Amada Williams, 34, who is facing the same charges, but has not been arrested at this time. Williams is known to frequent the Stephens City, Winchester, and Frederick County areas and is considered armed and dangerous.
