Front Royal Police Begin Extra Holiday Patrols

18 December 2018 Front Royal/Warren County News

Today (12/18/2018) marks the beginning the Front Royal Police Department’s 17th annual Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign.

According to a release from the Front Royal Police Department, Governor Northam helped launch this campaign in August; the FRPD’s local enforcement of the campaign will run from now until January 3rd, and will combine high-visibility enforcement with researched based advertising to remind likely offenders to get a safe ride home. Extra officers will be conducting saturation patrols during this holiday season, and Chief Kahle Magalis has said that “officers will be working to apprehend impaired drivers and ensure our citizens get home safely to their families.”
