Warren County EDA to Pursue Litigation Soon
The Board of the Front Royal-Warren County Economic Development Authority voted unanimously Friday (3/22/2019) to pursue litigation.
The decision came after a closed session, and allows the Sands Anderson law firm to file litigation on the organization’s behalf. Yesterday (3/25/2019), County Attorney Dan Whitten said that the subject of the suit is currently confidential, and that it could be filed as soon as this week. The EDA also announced the resignation of Greg Drescher and Ron Llewellyn from its board Friday. Both had stayed on past their terms to see through an investigation into the EDA’s financial dealings; their resignation came after the completion of an auditor report.
