Front Royal Water Improvements May Affect Traffic
Front Royal has announced that it will begin conducting water infrastructure improvements next week that will change traffic patterns in town for most of the summer.
From May 15 to July 31, improvements being conducted by Bushong Contracting will result in various lane shifts. The Public Works Department has said that it will post notices regularly of where and when the crew will be working. For now, they know that on Wednesday, May 15, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on West 18th street, and that on Thursday and Friday part of that street will be closed entirely between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Residents will be able to access their house from the North Royal Avenue side during that time. Night work will take place from May 19 through May 21 across North Shenandoah Avenue and East 17th street as well.
