Front Royal’s Main Street Bollard Installation Begins
A six day long lane closure on Front Royal’s Main Street begins Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
The town’s Streets Department will be installing security bollards, and will have a lane closure on Main Street between Royal Avenue and Crescent Street now through 2 p.m. on August 2. The lane will open back up on the weekend, but close again at 7 a.m. on August 5 and stay closed through 2 p.m. on August 7. Crews will be working in the area from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. before pouring concrete and leaving it overnight to cure. They will work one lane at a time, and therefore lane closures will be through the day and night. Motorists are asked to use caution while driving in the area.
