FRPD involved in a high speed chase

Front Royal Police Department (FRPD) arrested 51 year old Otis Lee Allen of Front Royal after a chase which began on John Marshal Highway.

After being pulled over Allen took off while the officer was exiting his vehicle.

The officer called for backup as the pursuit continued into town ending near Allen’s residents on Virginia Ave.

Allen has been charged with speeding, felony eluding and cell phone violations.

Allen was released on bond and has a court date of August 3.
