FRPD respond to suspicious phone call to WMH

Front Royal Police Department (FRPD) responded to a suspicious call late yesterday Jun. 30.

The call was just listed as a threat but nothing more specific at this time.

The call was received at the new Warren Memorial Hospital (WMH) on Valley Health Way Front Royal.

While investigating, police asked that citizens stay away from the new building as well as the area.

By 6 p.m. the alleged threat was deemed not credible and the hospital was reopened as the all clear was given.

The investigation is ongoing.
