Front Royal Police Department (FRPD) announced the arrest of a suspect involved in the solicitation of a minor.

Front Royal Police Detectives initiated the investigation regarding the solicitation in Warren County Front Royal in April.

The effort was an approach to apprehend individuals soliciting underage victims for sexual purposes.

During the operation an adult male began soliciting a detective who he believed to be a female under the age of 15 for photographs and sexually explicit material.

The suspect would also send the detective unsolicited adult materials as well.

Police were able to identify the suspect as a 28 year old Smithfield resident named Sean Kreinsen.

On Friday Kreinsen was arrested and is now held without bond with a court date of Oct. 13 in Warren County.

Front Royal Police Department is an active member of the Northern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in coordination with the Virginia State Police.
