Getaway-Car Driver in Taxi Robbery Caught

1 June 2018 News

The driver of a getaway vehicle in a Winchester taxi robbery that occurred Wednesday has been caught.

Winchester Police arrested 50-year-old Patricia Ann Miller on May 30, 2018, and charged her for assisting in the robbery. This was after an investigation in which police discovered she picked up 46-year-old Lydia Honaker after the crime took place. Honaker had called a taxi driver that night only to rob her at knifepoint after she was picked up; she stole cash and a cell phone before fleeing from the scene in a black Chevy Sonic that Miller drove. Winchester Police later located the vehicle in the 300 block of North Loudoun Street, near the location where the taxi driver had originally picked up the female.

Miller was transported to Northwest Regional Adult Detention Center after her arrest. She is currently being held there without bond.
