Gov. Youngkin release funds to battle homelessness

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced the release of $12 million going towards the Virginia Housing Trust Fund Homeless Reduction Grants.
The funds will benefit 68 projects across Virginia including projects in Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren Counties.
The funds will help to advance targeted efforts to reduce homelessness for over 2,600 individuals and families through 25 permanent supportive housing, 34 rapid rehousing and nine underserved populations innovation projects in the state.
The goal of the Virginia Housing Trust Fund homeless reduction grant program is to reduce homelessness throughout the state.
