Governor Northam to Visit White Post
Governor Ralph Northam is slated to visit the village of White Post in Clarke County tomorrow (7/25/2019).
Northam will be celebrating the $209,513 Virginia Technology Initiative (VATI) grant, which was recently awarded to the county to support construction of broadband infrastructure. Clarke County has partnered with Comcast to extend broadband service to residents and businesses in White Post, and the company has 12 months from June of 2019 to begin rolling-out services in the area. The governor will arrive at White Post Restorations at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, and will be joined by Delegate Wendy Gooditis and Clarke County Supervisors Bev McKay and Terri Catlett.
