High Wind and fire Warning is in effect in the valley
A high wind and fire warning is in effect in the Shenandoah Valley until 4 p.m. today Mar. 11.
Gust could reach 30 mph at times particularly in the mid afternoon that and dry conditions exist.
Law enforcement and Fire Officials remind citizens that outdoor burn laws went into to effect on Feb. 15 and will last until Apr. 30.
Outdoor burning is prohibited until at least 4 p.m. in the state of Virginia.
