11 March 2016 News Sports

WINCHESTER, VA–James Wood High School in Frederick County is searching for a varsity volleyball coach after Stephen Reaves resigned over the weekend.

James Wood High School’s Coordinator of Student Activities Craig Woshner said, “Coach Reaves submitted his resignation effective March 5.

He decided to step down due to a recent career change that will not allow him to continue coaching. We appreciate the work he did over the past year with our program and wish him success with his career transition.”

Reaves was named the varsity volleyball coach at James Wood in March of last year. In his only season as the team’s coach, the Colonels compiled a record of 14-7.

Woshner says, The school has begun searching for Reave’s replacement and he hopes to name a new coach in the next four to six weeks.”
