Kernstown Battlefield holds special event

Kernstown Battlefield will offer a special tour with author Gary Ecelbarger on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..

Ecelbarger wrote the definitive book on the First Battle of Kernstown “We Are In For It”.

The walking tour follows the path of both confederate and Union armies.

A boxed lunch will be available
