Lake Front Royal Blaze Displaces Family, Kills Canine
A Lake Front Royal blaze destroyed a home on Tuesday (6/18/2019) evening.
Warren County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to the 1400 block of High Ridge Road in the Lake Front Royal Community just after 5 p.m. They arrived to find the two-story single family home there with significant fire conditions, and a nearby vehicle in the driveway on fire as well. It took 20 minutes to bring the fire under control, and firefighters stayed throughout the evening to fully extinguish it. In all, the fire killed one dog, displaced the home’s family, and caused an estimated $300,000 in damages. The cause remains under investigation.
