Laurel Ridge Community College receives funds for STEM

Laurel Ridge Community College reports the reception of a donation of $20,000 to the school’s Educational Foundation for future STEM scholarships.
The funds are donated by Front Royal’s Axalta Coating Systems to support and offer scholarships for skilled trades education at Laurel Ridge Community College’s Middletown Campus.
The Axalta plant manufactures car paint and has donated funds for further education since a $40,000 gift back in 2021.
The preference for scholarships would be given to Warren County students or students with parents employed by Axalta.
Preference would also be given to students enrolled in Science, Technology, or Math courses.
