LCSO make quick arrest in Dulles Town Center shooting

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) reports an arrest made in a Dulles Town Center Shooting.
Deputies responded to the shooting just before noon and just 5 minutes later Authorities had the suspect in custody Apr. 2.
One unidentified victim was found just outside the mall suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The victim was treated by deputies and members of the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue Crews and transported to the hospital for continued treatment.
Early indications are the two men did not know each other at the time of the shooting.
The incident began with the interaction of the two at the food court.
Leesburg resident 31-year-old Alan W. Colie was taken into custody and charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and discharging a firearm within a building.
The mall was closed immediately after the shooting and remained closed the rest of the day.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies made a thorough check of the mall to ensure there were no other suspects or victims in the incident.
