LFCC has been recognized Military Friendly again

Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is designated as a Military Friendly ® School for 2021-2022 for the 11 year.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey.

LFCC’s ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence and loan default rates for student veterans are all measured.

Sharon Painter LFCC’s veteran academic advisor says the school has particularly strong measurements when it comes to the retention and graduation rates of student veterans.

Painter added that the college had 230 veteran, active duty, reservist or National Guard students enrolled in the 2019-2020 academic year.
