LFCC Makes Honor Roll Again
September 18, 2019
LFCC received the title following an analysis of employment data, workplace policies and an anonymous survey that employees fill out. ModernThink, a strategic human capital consulting firm, administered the survey and analyzed the results.
“While we’re a ‘student-first’ institution, its really gratifying to know that our employees enjoy coming to work every day and feel that they and the work they do are valued,” LFCC President Kim Blosser said in a press release. “I firmly believe that the pride and satisfaction that the faculty and staff derive from their jobs result in a greater and richer engagement with those we are here to serve – our students.”
Of the 236 institutions of higher learning surveyed nationwide, 85 earned the honor of being a “Great College to Work For.” The program is one of the largest workplace recognition programs in the country.
