Lord Fairfax SBDC Director Recognized Nationally
Christine Kriz won the Small Business Development Center Director of the year for the state of Virginia. Kriz has been director for three years, and will be recognized at a National Conference in California in September. She was chosen for the honor based on center’s success as per Small Business Administration guidelines and votes from colleagues.
The LFSBDC helps with consulting in multiple areas for current and prospective small business owners, helps to provide free market research data, and offers clients a 30% discount on Quickbooks accounting software. Kriz said in a Tuesday (8/13/2019) statement that last year, the center “helped put over $7.5 million dollars back into the economy and helped to start over 19 new businesses with over 100 new jobs created.”
