Linden fire displaces 2 families

No injuries were reported but two families were displaced by a fire that occurred in the 800 block of Johnathan Lane in Linden yesterday Mar. 9.

The families are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

Firefighters began suppression operation around 7:40 a.m. and went until at least 2 in the afternoon.

Fire units from Frederick and Fauquier Counties were called in to assist Warren County Fire and Rescue.

The fire is estimated to have caused at least $600,000 damage to the 4500 square foot home that was shared by the two families.

The fire remains under investigation by the Warren County Fire Marshal’s Office.
