Many of the Shenandoah Valley’s animal shelters are at complete capacity and in need of adoptions.
Monday morning the Page County Animal Shelter announced they are at capacity for dogs and now have a waitlist in place to accept owner surrenders.
The Clarke County Humane Foundation is on a mission to Empty The Shelter by Mothers Day.
Adoption fees are waived for any dog, including some of their longest residents like Kylo, Velo, and Zee, through May 10th.
Kitten Season is also hitting the local shelters.
The Warren County Humane Foundation recently took on a large amount of cats from a seizure case and is in need of fosters and heating discs for the kittens.
