Man Charged with Arson Following Domestic Dispute

A Winchester man has been charged with arson following a domestic dispute that lead to a small fire.
Winchester firefighters and law officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Highland Avenue on August 18, 2017 for a report of a small fire. Authorities say the fire reached about the size of a basketball but it was able to be extinguished shortly after arrival.
Shawn Isaiah Moses, 22, was arrested and charged with burning without a permit as well as arson. Authorities reported the fire was started after Moses burned a photo album that belonged to a 23 year old female after the two got into an argument.
Moses, released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Winchester General District on September 25 at 1:30pm.
