Winchester Buffalo Wild Wings Customer Held at Gunpoint

10 October 2018 News

A man was arrested after aiming his pistol at a customer outside of a Winchester Buffalo Wild Wings.

The incident took place at the 5 Weems Lane location at about 1 a.m. on Sunday. 21-year-old Tyler Thomas Ritenour was leaving the restaurant with two friends when an argument ensued between his group and customers on the Buffalo Wild Wings patio. Witnesses saw Ritenour and his friends making obscene hand gestures; Ritenour eventually removed a pistol from beneath his shirt, chambered a round, and pointed it at one of the men he was arguing with.

Witnesses obtained the license plate number of Ritenour’s vehicle as he pulled away, and Winchester Police later stopped him near the intersection of Valley Avenue and Weems Lane. He was arrested after they found a Glock beneath the driver’s seat of his vehicle, and he now faces charges of brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and reckless handling of a firearm.
