Manassas bank robbery remains under investigation

The Manassas branch of Bank of America on Sudley Road was robbed Saturday morning around 9:15.

The Prince William County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of the robbery continues with the suspect still at large.

The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the bank and approached the teller with a note demanding money and implying that he had a firearm.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hat, red shirt, gray or olive-green pants, camouflage hooded sweatshirt under a blue jacket.

The suspect wore white covers over all of his fingers.

At no time was a firearm produced and no injuries occurred in the incident.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

Attempts to locate the suspect by K9 were unsuccessful and anyone with any information is asked to contact authorities.
