MD. residents arrested with large amount of drugs

Two Maryland residents have been arrested by the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug and Gang Task Force as the result of an ongoing investigation.
Kevin Cloude and Jasmine Matthews have been charged with transporting and possession with the intent to distribute a large quantity of fentanyl and crack cocaine.
The pair were apprehended at the Budget Inn Strasburg with approximately 200 capsules of fentanyl worth about $6,000 and crack cocaine with a value of approximately $500.00.
Cloude was contacted by an undercover agent who arranged the purchase.
The duo were promptly arrested upon their arrival at the Budget Inn.
The pair are currently held in the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional jail without bond.
