Minchew Secures GOP Nomination for 10th District Del.

13 February 2019 Winchester Frederick County Clarke County News

Randy Minchew has secured the GOP nomination to represent Virginia’s 10th District in the House of Delegates.

Minchew was the only candidate to register for the Republican nomination, and won by default when the party’s February 7th registration deadline expired. A politician with more than 20 years of experience, Minchew has served on the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Loudoun County Finance Board, the Citizens’ Tax Equity Committee, and the Loudoun Judicial Center Task Force. He was elected Virginia’s 10th District Delegate in 2011, and served six consecutive terms in the House of Delegates before losing his 2017 reelection to Democratic Delegate Wendy Gooditis by 3.9% of the vote. He’ll go toe to toe with her again in the polls on November 5th.
