Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) awarded the funds from Operation Round Up recently.

As we do every first Fri. of the month we check in with SVEC to see what’s the latest for the month.

In our latest news maker we spoke with Event and Communication Manager Preston Knight about SVEC.

Preston tells us that voting in the SVEC Board of Directors will soon end with the results announced on Aug. 11.

He also tells us who received funding form the Cooperative’s Operation Round Up.

Preston also explains how any nonprofit can apply for funding for the October release of funds.
