The American Red Cross reports a critical emergency blood supply crisis.
As it just so happens the annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is Friday July 24 at the Public Safety Building in Winchester.

Chief Majchrzak offers the Fire and Rescue side of the Battle and urges support through blood donations.
The Chief urges all his volunteers to come out and support the drive by making that appointment at redcrossblood.org.
In the long run, as Sheriff Millholland says the winners are those who are in need of blood.
