NSV COVID-19 Economic Response Team announces OpenAndSafeNSV campaign
In an effort to unite and create solidarity among business owners in the region, the Northern Shenandoah Valley (NSV) COVID-19 Economic Response Team announced a new campaign, OpenAndSafeNSV.
The NSV COVID-19 Economic Response Team consists of Frederick County, Clarke County, the City of Winchester, the Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center, and the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber.
A website was created to accompany the campaign. On OpenAndSafeNSV.biz, business owners can sign the pledge saying they will adhere to safety guidelines outlined by the Virginia Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Once signed, business owners will gain access to printable and digital graphics for stores, websites and social media. Businesses who take the pledge will also be listed on the OpenAndSafeNSV.biz website.
According to a statement on the campaign website, having a business community that is united to ensure the safety of themselves, their staff, their visitors and the community as a whole will boost customer confidence in returning to the experiences they have valued for years.
