Online Grocery Delivery Service Comes to Winchester

As of today, a new online grocery delivery service will be available in the Winchester area.

Founded in 2012, Instacart is a service that provides same-day delivery of fresh groceries and everyday essentials to consumers in the U.S. and Canada. Using Instacart’s online platform or app, customers are able to enter their city, order, and a delivery window that can range from within an hour to five days. An Instacart shopper then accepts the order on their smartphone and carries out the delivery.

Starting today (1/10/2019), Winchester area residents will be able to have goods  from Costco, ALDI, Petco and CVS Pharmacy delivered through the service. Instacart is planning to bring on 100 shoppers to meet local demand. Service locations include:

Winchester, Grimes, Cedar Hill, Welltown, Clear Brook, Brucetown, Stephenson, Jordan Springs, Wadesville, Burnt Factory, Gaylord, Berryville, Webbtown, Arcadia Farm, Briggs, Millwood, Berrys, Boyce, Waterloo, Lost Corner, Stone Bridge, White Post, Armel, Lake Frederick, Canterburg, Stephens City, Parkins Mills, Kernstown, Mt. Williams, Wilde Acres, Mt. Pleasant, Shawnee Land, Round Hill, Hayfield, Gainesboro, Nain, Cedar Grove, White Hall, Green Springs, and Dehaven.
