Page County collects hazardous waste

Page County will hold a hazardous waste collection and free dump day Saturday Apr. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..
Allowing 2 pickup loads per address at 219 Landfill Drive Luray.
Accepting items like paints and related materials, aerosol cans, adhesives, motor oil, gasoline and antifreeze.
More items they can accept include household cleaners, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, mercury along with batteries, automotive fluids, electronics and fluorescent bulbs.
They are unable to take chemicals, industrial waste, 55 gallon drums of waste, explosives or bullets.
The waste collection is for Page County residents only.
They do ask that you label items if they are not.
