Page County Officers Receive Meth Lab Seizure Training

9 March 2018 News

For the last three days (March 6-8), Investigators and Officers from the Page County Sheriff’s Office, Luray Police Department, and Page County Emergency Services attended Clandestine Lab Training provided by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Training included how to safely make entry into an area suspected or known to contain meth labs and safely process the scene. Participants had to don personal protective equipment, including a self-contained breathing apparatus, while participating in exercises that simulated the physical movements required during a meth lab seizure.
