Page County Sheriff Appoints New Chief Deputy

The Page County Sheriff’s Office has appointed a new Chief Deputy.
The announcement came Thursday (5/2/2019) that Major Peter J. Monteleone would be stepping into the role. Major Monteleone served as an Airman 1st Class in the United State Air Force, and began his career in law enforcement in 1996 with the Stanley Police Department. He’s served since as a narcotics investigator with the Northwest Regional Drug Task Force and a Police Chief in both the town of Shenandoah and East Palestine, Ohio. Monteleone said Thursday that he’s spent 20 years of his life in Page County, and is “very pleased to return” to the area.
