Pamela Northam visits valley schools

Virginia’s First Lady Pamela Northam and State Secretary of Education Atif Qarni paid a visit to a couple of valley schools.
The pair toured North Fork Middle School in Shenandoah County as well as Page County High School.
With 80 percent of the kids back to in-person learning Northam said they wanted to see what these school systems were doing right.
The first lady said these schools are doing so much right and leading the way.
Northam commended the teachers for thinking about the best ways to engage students.
Northam added that they were excited to see how teachers have been doing now that school personnel are able to get vaccinated.
