The Valley Business Today: Able Forces
5 February 2020
We were in the studio today for The Valley Business Today with Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce President, Niki Cales. Niki brought with her Skip Rogers from Able Forces, a new chamber member to talk about his organization and the services it provides to military and veteran families.
Skip told us about both sides of Able Forces – the one that provides job/professional training and assistance to military and veteran families as well as the foundation side that provides financial and emotional support as well.
For more information about Able Forces, visit their website: https://www.ableforces.org/ and follow them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AbleForces/ You can reach Skip via phone to: (540) 631-9600 or email: skip.rogers@ableforces.org You can also stop by their office: 115 Chester Street, Suite B, Front Royal, VA 22630
Able Forces Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, founded by Skip, a disabled veteran with a MISSION to provide immediate financial assistance to military and veteran families identified in financial crisis by military base or veteran Advocates. For over nine years, Able Forces has worked closely with military and veteran advocates on military bases, VA hospitals, and non-profit organizations who identify wounded, ill, and injured military personnel and families in immediate financial need. Three charity programs exist within Able Forces Foundation to assist with this mission and all requests for crisis assistance must be initiated by a military or veteran advocate who can substantiate immediate need.
