Camping for Hunger 2019: Valley Assistance Network
18 November 2019
As Camping for Hunger 2019 kicked off, we were broadcasting The Valley Today from the Camping for Hunger bus parked at Royal Plaza Shopping Center. All week, Valley Today guests will speak about the under-served populations in our community and the ways we can help improve their quality of life through donations, services & support.
Today, Jennifer Hall from Valley Assistance Network (a program of United Way Northern Shenandoah Valley) joined me on the bus to talk about the program and the ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) they serve.
