Coping with a Money Crunch: FREE Webinar
17 July 2020
We pre-recorded today’s conversation via Zoom with Karen Poff, an extension agent with Virginia Cooperative Extension’s Northern Shenandoah Valley Financial Education Program to talk about her ongoing series of free webinars: Coping with a Money Crunch. The webinars are virtual and attendees can participate via phone call or on their tablet, iPhone or computer/laptop. You can download the program flyer here: https://tinyurl.com/WarrenResourceList2020
We initially talked about Karen’s concern about distributing the information about the free webinar to people who need the information the most and/or people who might not even know they need the information and her struggle determining the most effective way to get the information about the webinar to them. To that end, head over to our Facebook page and answer our question.
In the second segment of the conversation, Karen talked about a few of the topics that she’ll cover during the free webinar that includes:
- Impact payment cards;
- Accessing free weekly credit reports;
- Managing student loan debt;
- Rent/Mortgage assistance;
- Surviving Debt – an online book now available at no cost.
For more information about the free webinars, to see what dates and times are available (new dates are added on the 25th of each month), or to register, visit https://tinyurl.com/moneycrunch2020. Only registered participants will receive a participation link.
