Front Royal Thermal Shelter
1 November 2019
We were in the studio today for a conversation about the Front Royal Thermal Shelter with Michelle Smeltzer. While Michelle’s full-time job is with Warren County Department of Social Services, she explained that neither the county nor the town provide any kind of funding for the thermal shelter.
They hope to open the temporary thermal shelter on December 14, 2019 and remain open for 14 consecutive weeks. This is directly dependent on support from many local churches as well as the community at-large.
