Tourism Tuesday: Front Royal’s Appalachian Trail Community
14 May 2019
We were in the studio for Tourism Tuesday – Front Royal/Warren County edition – with Felicia Hart, Director of Community Development & Tourism for the Town of Front Royal, and her guest, Garry Green, owner of Mountain Trails located at 120 E. Main Street in Front Royal (and 115 N. Loudoun Street, Winchester.)
We talked about the important role the Appalachian Trail plays in our community from both a tourism perspective as well as economically. We talked about the hikers who take on the trail and Garry gave us some insight into why they do it and what life is like during their experience. He also told us about his new “base camp” located at his shop.
