Today we’ll take a look at a few odd laws that are, or at least were at one time, on the books. Some of these are state wide laws while others are for specific counties or towns. If you’re in Alaska, don’t even think about throwing a live moose out of an airplane, it’s illegal. In Missouri it’s illegal to drive with an uncaged bear. Another bear related law comes from Oklahoma where it’s illegal to wrestle a bear. In New York, it’s illegal for two or more people to meet in public wearing masks. I’m sure this one has gone out the window with the ongoing pandemic. In Texas it’s illegal to change the weather. It’s also illegal in Texas to carry a concealed ice cream cone. In Connecticut a pickle can’t be called a pickle if it doesn’t bounce. Finally, in Washington state it’s illegal to poach a sasquatch, at least on the roughly one million acres in Whatcom County. The whole county is a sasquatch protection and refuge area. You can take all the blurry pictures you want, but don’t you dare poach him.
