Randolph-Macon Academy senior Gillian Rydholm of Front Royal has received the American Citizenship Award. Rydholm served in RMA’s student government and been active in the community.

Winchester Public Schools will have a new teacher orientation breakfast August 1, 2017 at 8am at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School.

Winchester Public Schools has named Kristen Tuttle as the new Director of Human Resources. Prior to her current position, she was Assistant Principal at John Handley High School.

The first day of school for students in Clarke County will be August 22. The first day of class in Page County will be August 28.

Beginning this winter, LFCC will offer the state’s first statewide-recognized credential program for heavy equipment operators at its Vint Hill campus.
