The Frederick County Esther L. Boyd Animal Shelter invites everyone and their dog to their annual Pool Pawty.

We spoke to Frederick County Animal Shelter Manager Christina Tasker about the event in our latest news maker.

Christina tells us there is more to the event than just playing with your pup in the pool.

She tells us there is a mile to 2-mile-long walk that includes T-Shirts and Bandanna for the pup.

Christina also tells us about all the various things that will be taking place September 12 at Sherando Pool starting at 10 a.m.
