We were in the studio today with Lauren Cummings, Executive Director for the Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Abuse Coalition. We talked about the opiod crisis both nationally and more importantly, on a local level. She talked about the numbers of overdoses in the valley, the inception of her organization and gave us some details about the Drug Treatment Court.  We covered a pretty broad range of topics and talked about their upcoming Addicted to Hope Rally happening on Saturday, September 23 from 4pm – 8pm in front of Handley High School.
