Quick Money Chats
19 March 2021
We pre-recorded today’s Extension Office Friday conversation via Zoom with Karen Poff, Senior Extension Agent, Family & Consumer Science, Virginia Cooperative Extension office. Karen is based in the Warren County office, but serves all five surrounding counties. She also manages the Northern Shenandoah Valley Financial Education Program.
Today, Karen told us about their newest program: Quick Money Chats where an individual will be able to get a financial question answered by someone on Karen’s team of volunteers. She gave us background for how/why the program began, why it’s a reliable resource (as opposed to Google), and walked us through the process to submit a question. She also told us about the types of questions they expect to receive.
This is a free program.
