Shenandoah County Public School’s Re-Opening Plan
24 August 2020
We pre-recorded today’s conversation via Zoom with Dr. Mark Johnston, Superintendent of Shenandoah County Public Schools to talk about Shenandoah County Public School’s re-opening plan, how those plans have changed in the last few weeks and why, plus to talk about what virtual classes will look like when the semester begins on Monday, August 31, 2020.
Dr. Johnston explained the impact COVID-19 numbers have on their students/parents and the role they played in their decision-making process. We discussed what virtual classes will look like for the different grade levels and Mark told us how all the school staff from bus drivers and cafeteria workers to teachers and administrators have all come together for the better of their students.
