2 March 2021
We pre-recorded today’s conversation via Zoom for Tourism Tuesday Shenandoah County edition with Kary Haun from Shenandoah County Tourism. The show today was a shout-out to women-owned businesses in Shenandoah County in honor of Women’s History Month.
Joining us on the Zoom screen, Cristi Coryell, owner of The Buttercup – a women’s fashion, accessories & home decor boutique located at 9431 S. COngress Street in New Market, VA. Meredith Norris also joined us from The Pantry at 117 located inside Woodstock Cafe and told us about her newest business venture, a bakery focused on providing handcrafted breads, pastry, sweets and treats – Flour & Water Co – located at 124 S, Main Street in Woodstock, VA.
We talked about how important community was to the women when they started their businesses and spoke of the partnerships they’ve formed and the success they’ve had. They are hosting a joint “Girls Night Out” event on March 19 at Flour & Water Co. Details for that can be found by clicking here.
