We strolled Strasburg for our regular monthly conversation with Interim (soon to be permanent I HOPE!) Director of Community Development, Olivia Hilton to chat with a few small businesses and get the details for the upcoming Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Festival happening on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

At our first stop, Artisan Avenue LLC, we chatted with owner Becky about all the creative and unique items she has in her shop. She told us about her various vendors and all the things she makes herself. She also told us about her updated hours that will take effect this weekend. For more information, or to access the virtual tour we mentioned during the conversation, follow Artisan Avenue LLC on Facebook.

At our next stop, Amy’s Lush & Local, we chatted with Amy about the flower shop and the impact growing and giving the blooms has had on her life. She told us about her new subscription service that gets you a fresh flower arrangement each week or each month. Get more details about those on her Facebook page.

Finally, Olivia & I headed back to our usual spot at Nancy’s Coffee Bar to talk about the details for the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Festival happening on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Now in it’s 5th year, Olivia encouraged people to get their tickets now since there are limited numbers available and they typically sell out a week before the event. Get more information about the festival and all the things happening in Strasburg on their Facebook page.
